The vehicle must be returned containing the same amount of fuel as it was when handed over. Otherwise, BVcar will retain the deposit for the cost of fuel needed to refuel vehicle. No refund is allowed for used fuel.

For car rental payments are made during the booking process. The car rental company sells additional options which can be purchased on the spot via cash or credit card.

Refundable deposit is 300€. Deposit can be left in either cash, credit or debit card.

Deposit is returned after the end of the booking. Deposit return time can vary between different banks

If you would like to cancel your reservation, type your reservation ID in "Manage booking" page. Your reservation ID is on your confirmation voucher, which is sent to your email once your booking is confirmed.

The driver must be on site at the appointed time. Reservations will be automatically canceled in case of a delay of more than 1 hour.

Pick up and drop off at the northern airport (Los Rodeos) costs 70€ (one way), at the southern airport free of charge from 8:30 to 19:30. Out of hours +30€ Pick up the car on Sunday +30€

It is forbidden to export the vehicle outside the island of Tenerife without the appropriate permission of the company. Otherwise, the insurance policy will not be valid.

Insurance coverage: The car insurance covers only the Hirer or drivers authorized hereby. The vehicle is covered by legally required insurance policy that includes travel assistance. Insurance will not cover any risks after the contract expires. Insurance doesn´t cover: damages to the car caused by the Hire due to collision, as well as death or injury of the driver and passengers; vandalism; theft of personal items; damages caused to goods transported in the rented vehicle, flats, total or partial damages to rims, tires, and windows or other glass, as well as damages to the underneath of the car; loss, theft or damages of accessories, spare parts, keys, remote control, battery, tools, documentation or other items; damages caused to the car by filling it up with the wrong fuel. The Hirer must pay for all corresponding damages occurred in the cases discussed above and all other damages that are not covered by insurance at the price fixed by BVcar. The vehicle’s seat covers should be returned in the same condition as when the vehicle was hired. In case of damage, such as wet seats, stains or deterioration, BVcar may withhold the deposit, which will be used to fix the damages and bring the vehicle to its original condition. The Hirer is responsible for any traffic fines, costs caused by breaching the Law as expressed in the Highway Code (Codigo de Circulacion), and violations of parking regulations. Drivers, who operate the vehicle under influence of drugs, narcotics, alcohol, etc., will assume the full responsibility for all damages made to the vehicle and will be responsible for the passengers, objects, and things transported. In this case, insurance doesn’t cover any damages. The Hirer will pay for any damages immediately as soon as it has been assessed. 4. Accidents: In case of an accident, the Hirer must report the accident to BVcar immediately by phone; must not take any responsibility or agree with any other party without the consent of BVcar (otherwise the Hirer will be responsible for it); move the car from the place of accident until appropriate authorities report the accident; leave the vehicle without taking the necessary security measures to avoid any loss or damage. The Hirer must obtain all information regarding a driver, a vehicle, and owner’s insurance company from the party involved in the accident. 5. If the Hirer has deliberately supplied inexact information regarding his identity, address, validity of his driving license or any information relating to the accident, BVcar declines all responsibility for any accident or damages to property caused by the hired vehicle. In this case, insurance will not cover any risks and the Hirer will pay all damages caused to the vehicle and/or third party. 6. In the case of non-compliance, breach of contract, and any violations of the terms and conditions of this contract, BVcar has the right to get the possession of the hired vehicle immediately and retain the deposit or charge the credit card (indicated by the Hirer in the first page of the present Agreement for this purpose) for any fees that may occur.
